Duc Chinh: ‘Park has a plan to defeat Indonesia’

U22 Vietnam excellently edges Cambodia 4-0 in the semis to advance to the final for the first time in the history. Duc Chinh’s hat trick contributes to his 8 goals from the beginning of the tournament.

After the match, Duc Chinh shares, “The final will be a different one. Vietnam must start do it all again to defeat Indonesia this time. We must stay focused and reach the best health condition. Indonesian players are strong and speedy so we must be cautious. Of course Park has his plan to deal with Indonesia. And our task will be follow his.”

Of 8 goals, Duc Chinh scores up to 5 headers. The young player said,  “I am young and able to improve my skills, one of them are using header on the artificial turf. We got many air ball phases in SEA Games. Vietnam will keep using this style in the upcoming match.”

Duc Chinh is considerd a perfect replacement for Tien Linh on the attack. However, Quang Hai’s injury made Park change to 3-5-2 formation, which allows both Duc Chinh and Tien Linh to play alongside on the attack.

The final of SEA Games 30^th men’s football between U22 Vietnam vs Indonesia will kick off at 7:00PM, Dec 10.
