Park Hang-seo: ‘I am really sorry for the red card’

Before Vietnam was awarded the gold medal, caoch Park apologized for the card and said that he should have controlled his temper more.

U22 Vietnam defeated U22 Indonesia 3-0 in the SEA Games 30th final and get the first gold medal in the history. Doan Van Hau deserved to be the brighest star in this match by his brace. The other goal was scored by Do Hung Dung.

A notable situation was when Trong Hoang was fouled by Osvaldo in the 76th minute. The push of Osvaldo caused Trong Hoang to fall sharply on the border. However, the referee determined that the Indonesian U22 player had played by the rules. This made coach Park Hang Seo unhappy and responded to the decision of the referee.

The referee immediately pulled out a red card for   Park and forced him to leave the training area. This decision angered the Korean leader. However, he still had to leave the field and joined the audience with the Vietnamese women's team. By the 86th minute, Mr. Park was forced to go into the tunnel and couldn't continue watching the match.

Sharing while waiting for the awards ceremony, Mr. Park said, "I sincerely apologize for that red card. In that situation, I have to be more restrained. I want to apologize to everyone for what I've done. But I think in the end, Vietnam's victory is the most important "- according to VNE.

When Coach Park Hang Seo received the red card, the U22 Vietnam team took a 3-0 lead and completely dominated the match. The players still play brilliantly and secure the full victory, thereby winning the gold medal of the SEA Games for the first time in history.

Immediately after winning the SEA Games 30 championship, the U22 Vietnam team will set out to South Korea on December 13 to prepare for the AFC U23 Championship 2020. The tournament will take place from January 8 to January 26 in Thailand. Coach Park Hang-seo and players are in Group D with the participation of Jordan, North Korea and the UAE.
