Speaking at a press conference ahead of the World Cup 2022 2nd round qualifier, Thailand’s manager Akira Nishino said that ‘Changsuek’ is prepared to win full three points.

Thailand is back to training for their away match against Indonesia, held in Gelora Bung Karno, Indonesia after their uncomfortable 0-0 draw to Vietnam. However, the War Elephants will have to manage without key players Thitipan Puangchan and Peeradon Chamratsamee, who were both injured in the previous match.

“After the draw to Vietnam, we have had more time to prepare. Thailand is ready for the next battle”, Nishino told the media.

“Although Thailand has to replace the injured Thitipan and Peeradon, all the players are generally performing at their peak. The whole team is full strength.”

“We need goals to win so Thailand will focus on creating opportunities to score, and of course, all players must  do their utmost  to capitalize on them.”

Thailand has played against Indonesia 78 times, in which ‘Changsuek’ has the upper hand with 38 victories and comes in unbeaten in their last 26  matches.

Thailand last defeated Indonesia 4-2 under Rajevac’s lead at the AFF Cup 2018.
