Chu Dinh Nghiem: ‘Hanoi FC will win to advance to the final of the AFC 2019 Cup'
Chu Dinh Nghiem believes his players will beat April 25 to reach the 2019 AFC Cup final.
Hanoi FC is going through a tough time in North Korea where the internet is forbidden. The players are feeling very isolated from the world.
It wasn’t until he visited the Vietnam embassy last Saturday evening that coach Chu Dinh Nghiem was able to make a call to Vietnam to share the situation of the Vietnamese players.
The coach said Hanoi FC is working hard to prepare for the second leg and is determined to reach the final of the 2019 AFC Cup.
“April 25 represents North Korea football and they want a win in this return match. Hanoi wasted a home advantage last time and gave up a 2-2 draw at the last minute.
But we give our best, because that’s our goal this season. I think Hanoi could reach the finals," said Nghiem.
Mr. Nghiem said that Hanoi has trained on artificial turf to get used to the pitch here but the pitch is 50 minutes from their hotel.
The inter-zonal final in North Korea will kick off at 3:00PM on Oct.
