Tuan Anh and his teammates have achieved great results after 5 years playing in V-League

With the 3-1 defeat of Quang Nam right at home in round 10 of V-League 2020, HAGL has risen up to the fourth position in the rankings with 16 points. This is a worthy achievement after the efforts of HAGL team in the past time.

This is also the highest score that HAGL has won after 10 rounds since they released the talented players including Tuan Anh, Xuan Truong, Van Toan or Cong Phuong at the highest level playing field in Vietnamese football.

Five years ago, when the talents of the 1st course of HAGL Arsenal JMG were promoted to play in V-League, they only won a mere 8 points after the first 10 rounds and ranked 11th in the rankings.

In the following season, HAGL improved a little in scores and rankings. At the end of the first 10 rounds of V-League 2016, HAGL won 11 points and ranked 10th in the rankings.

The results of HAGL after the first 10 rounds are not much better in the 2017 V-League. Although Cong Phuong has returned after a period of "unsuccessful" time abroad, the mountain town team has only won 10 points and ranked 11th in the rankings.

The 2018 season saw HAGL reaching 16 points (goal differences 12-14) over 10 rounds, ranking the 4th as the current position. However, they are still inferior to them goal diiferences if compared to this year (12-12). In the V-League 2019, Cong Phuong and his teammates won 14 points, ranked 6th after 10 matches.

Anh Duc will be an important factor for HAGL for the rest of the football season

With the current score, Hoang Anh Gia Lai is holding a big advantage to be in the group of 8 strongest teams competing for the V-League championship 2020. This shows the changes of coach Lee Tae Hoon in this year's season is still working.

In the near future, with the presence of striker Nguyen Anh Duc in the squad, it is likely that HAGL will play better and confidently complete the goal of reaching the top 5 when the V-League 2020 ends.
