Expert says HAGL should not use duo Tuan Anh - Xuan Truong

In the 8th round of V-League 2020, HAGL had a minimal victory over Hong Linh Ha Tinh. The only scorer for the mountain town team was striker Chevaughn Walsh in the first minutes.

In this match, coach Lee Tae Hoon had Xuan Truong start from the beginning to replace the injured Kelly Kester. Tuyen Quang-born midfielder played very well in 45 minutes to be on the field. It was he who made the free-kick that allowed Chevaughn Walsh to score.

This is also the first time that Tuan Anh and Xuan Truong have teamed up together in the official lineup of HAGL in the V-League 2020. This is what the fans of the mountain town team have been dreaming of since the beginning of the season. However, according to expert Vu Quang Huy, coach Lee Tae Hoon should not regularly use this pair of midfielders:

"Xuan Truong came back to play with Tuan Anh to help HAGL have more choices. In addition, when the V-League is kicking like this, sometimes the coach gives Xuan Truong the starting kick and Tuan Anh is on the bench to save energy.

Of course we cannot rush to praise, to acclaim too, it needs more time to verify. If Xuan Truong and Tuan Anh are paired, their rock style is quite similar, needing another player of the same level."

In addition, Vu Quang Huy also advised fans not to expect too much of HAGL's performance in the 2020 V-League season:
