SEA Games 30: U22 Vietnam is at new group seed thanked to VFF’s complaint
SEA Games 30’s group seeds are re-determined. By the new classification, U22 Vietnam makes it to group 3 along with U22 Myanmar.

If World Cup 2023 to be held in Asian, Vietnam women's national football team will have an opportunity to make its presence in the biggest tournament of the world.
The nations and associations attending: 4 South America countries namely Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Bolivia; South Africa, New Zealand and three Asian associations consisting of Australia, Japan, and North Korea.
In case one of the Asian nations hosting World Cup 2023, there will be likely 5 joining slots.
In Asia area, despite being not as qualified as such top1 teams namely Japan, Korea or China, Vietnam women's national football team is measured as a top2 team, together with Thailand, Tawan, Uzbekistan, and Myanmar.
At the moment, Vietnamese women ranks 35th on the world table and 7th of Asia rankings.
At first, Japan runs the race of being the host for 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.
However, the country won the right to host 2020 Olympic Tokyo so they cannot take the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
At present, Coach Mai Duc Chung’s side is fighting for sealing a ticket to Olympic 2020. We went through to the final qualifications and there are two victories left to be played in the Olympic 2020.
