VFF complains about U22 Vietnam’s in the underdog pot in 30th SEA Games
VFF has made a complaint that U22 Vietnam is placed in the underdog group in 30th SEA Games Daw
Vice president Tran Quoc Tuan announced that SEA Games organizer will change the format for group seed’s classification.
He said: "VFF had recognized the matter in the host Philippines’ result. Then we had a conversation with the president of PFF to discuss about it. Our point is re-classifying to correct the arrangement.
The conclusion might be incorrect by the technical fault and the organizer made the mistake as they had a lot of sports to set up. SEA Games’ representative took the proposal and reported to the authority to correct suitably the classification."
If there is no change in the outcome, U22 Vietnam runs the risk of being in the ‘group of death’ consisting of Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar.
