In the second qualifying round of FIFA World Cup 2022, Vietnam was drawn into group G with strong rivals, namely UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia. According to Vietnam fixtures in the second qualifying round, Park Hang-seo side will first face Thailand at their home on September 5.
