Quang Hai and Van Toan are confident to defeat Malaysia in World Cup 2022 qualifiers

Due to the complex development of coronavirus outbreak, V-League has been rescheduled to March, which will affect Vietnam’s preparation for World Cup 2020.

Quang Hai stated that the delay will help him to boost energy for the new season while Van Toan expressed his confidence against Malaysia.

"Having played too much over the past time, the delay will help me recover physical strength and recharge the engery. Besides, we will have higher desire to play and perform better after this reschedule,” Tuoi Tre quoted Quang Hai.

Quang Hai and Van Toan are confident against Malaysia.

“By the next match against Malaysia, V League 2020 will have kicked off for two rounds, it is good for me and my teammates in Vietnam NT. We have two matches in V-League so we will soo catch up with the pace for the battle against Malaysia,” said Van Toan.

V-League is expected to delay after round three ends on March 20. Park, then, will announce the preliminary list of Vietnam squad for the call-up on March 21.

Quang Hai and his teammates will have a friendly match with Iraq on March 26 at Go Vau stadium before taking on Malaysia on March 31.
