Recently, forward Van Toan shares about his goal in season 2020.
Van Toan has been considered as one of the most table players in Vietnam with good speed and technique.
Along with the success of Vietnamese football for more than 2 years, many players have been noticed by foreign teams and Van Toan is one of those names.
However, the striker of HAGL still has no intention of going abroad, at least this season.
Van Toan said: "I am currently focusing on HAGL. I think in the future, maybe 1-2 years, I will go abroad. If possible, I would love to play in Japan. I feel like I can do it. I'm familiar with the environment there. Of course, Japanese tournament is at a higher level than Vietnam. But I feel that I can adapt. "
The 2020 season is about to start, Van Toan also sets very high goals at club and national level.
"With the Vietnamese team, I hope to play well with the team to qualify for the second round of the 2022 World Cup. Besides, I also want to defend the AFF Cup championship with Vietnam at the end of the year.
As for the HAGL Club, I hope to help the team achieve a higher position ahead of the season. I temporarily do not want to talk in detail because sometimes it will make my teammates at HAGL feel pressured ”.
