The former Monaco Coach wishes to become Cong Phuong’s coach

The former Monaco Laurent Banide coach applied for Incheon Head Coach position to become Cong Phuong’s trainer.

SportSeoul revealed the one hunting for a coach at Incheon United named Laurent Banide, a prominent Europe coach.

Mr. Laurent Banide once was the trainer of such football superstars as Thierry Henry, David Trezeguet, and Yaya Toure.

In 2006/07 season, the strategist had been pointed as Monaco Coach. He once again was back to lead the team in 2011 season.

Leaving Monaco, Laurent Banide had a move to Middle East to work and lead teams in Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Laurent Banide comes to Incheon with the hope using his training experiences in Western Asia to sort Incheon out and thrive it again. Incheon was the team which Coach Jorn Andersen had given up after leading it through a series of bitter defeats.

If Laurent Banide succeed in the selection, there will have an opportunity for Cong Phuong, who now is stuck in Incheon’s incompleteness problem, to put his back on track.

Mr. Laurent Banide is supposed to be a mascot in training players to become famous stars. In addition, coach Banide prefers an offensive competitive strategy which is suitable to Cong Phuong’s style.
