Incheon’s captain: Cong Phuong will rouse up in K. League
Captain Nam Joon-jae of Incheon United believes that Cong Phuong will rouse up K. League this season thanks to his impressive technique.
Nam Joon-jae shared in a recent reportage of KBS: “I think Cong Phuong has real talent. His strong point is drifting. I believe that he will fire up Incheon’s defensive line in K. league 2019.”
Meanwhile, Coach Andersen assumes: “Notwithstanding Cong Phuong is having a disadvantage in physical strengths, his speed and skillfulness in finishing the ball are amazing. In training matches, Cong Phuong showed an impressive scoring touch. If he has time to make acquaintance with Korean football, he will be useful in Incheon’s formation.”
'Cong Phuong has real talent'
As his self-appreciation: “To be a Centre Forward in K. League, Incheon needs such type of people as Mugosa so putting myself in that mission is really difficult. However, I set a goal to assert myself and let people know that Vietnamese players can play excellently in Korean.”
Since the day I came Korean, I have been played 5 matches in which there were 2 games that I was pointed in the starting lineup. However, the Vietnamese Center Forward has not scored any goal in K. League.
Howbeit, Cong Phuong will be in the primary formation in the upcoming match against Ulsan Hyundai. It seems to be a hypercompetitive game for Incheon when facing such a team leading the way with 4 triumphs and 2 draws.
Therefore, it needs to be changed to short pass style in Coach Andersen’s static to make best use of Cong Phuong’s technique and his breakthrough ability.
