Thailand at the risk of losing head coach in World Cup Qualifiers
Thể Thao 247 - Coach Sirisak might lose his chance to lead Thailand NT in World Cup Qualifiers because of not having a professional coach degree requirement given by FIFA.
Although taking on Thailand head coach post and starting right from King’s Cup, Coach Sirisak do not have a chance to lead his enemies heading to World Cup Qualifiers arena due to cannot demanding FIFA standard about the professional degree.
To get a degree, every coach has to attend a 4-section course. Until World Cup Qualifiers starts, Mr. Sirisak maximally finishes half of the course.
Therefore, he will be knocked off his perch on leading the home team ahead of Qualifying’s matches.
Speaking to Siam Sports, a FAT representative said: "If possible, we will work on to negotiate with the Asian Football Federation (AFC). If allowed, we will still give the opportunity leading Thai NT for Sirisak Yodyardthai. However, the process will take a while for the law regulated by world football."
According to Siam Sports, FAT is keeping finding the top candidate to be appointed in the head coach position for NT in case of cannot dealing with AFC about Sirisak’s case.
