Hoang Anh Gia Lai was happy, so did Coach Park as Van Thanh back on track
Van Thanh was thrown into the team and called for a response from his team against Thanh Hoa FC for a few minutes, which sent a good sign for Hoang Anh Gia Lai Coaches and Coach Park Hang-seo.
In 2019 V-League Round 7, HAGL took a regrettable draw to Thanh Hoa FC. Despite taking an early lead 3 – 1, HAGL let the opponent equalize the scores 3 – 3 leading to un-wishing outcome.
However, fans and HAGL Coaches were still contend with the game because of Vu Van Thanh’s appearance after his recovery from 6-month treatment. He made his re-debut in the 90+3 minutes of the match.
Sharing with Bong Da newspaper, Van Thanh said:
“Appearing on the field just few minutes, but it is a great opportunity for me to get my feeling back and savor V.League atmosphere. Hopefully I will have more time being on the field next match.
Of course, the coaches don't want me to rush. Only when I recover completely and get up with high intensity can I be given more opportunities. In the current context of HAGL, I am crave for playing on the field, but it is true that if it want to hurry, it has to slow.”
Vu Van Thanh, who might be the factor reducing the anxiousness of the worse V-League 2019 defensive line, is possibly sent into the pitch in round 8 against Nam Dinh to get back his sense with the ball.
Coach Park really want Van Thanh appear on Vietnam NT formation, which the coach is monumenlly working on to add on young talents for, in the race conquer World Cup 2022 Qualifiers.
