Chanathip Songkrasin: 'Playing in Europe is my goal'

Chanathip Songkrasin's dream of going to Europe to play was temporarily closed when he signed a 3-year contract with Consadole Sapporo. However, in the latest move, according to SMM Sports, Chanathip has just changed its representative company. Accordingly, he shares the same representative with many other Thai players, Kawin Thamsatchanan, Thitiphan Puangchan.
Immediately, the representative company sent Chanathip Songkrasin's profile to some second tier Bundesliga clubs in the 2019/20 season. If everything goes well, he could go to Germany to play next season, even though his contract with Consadole Sapporo will epire in 3 years.
In early July, Chanathip gave an interview to Soccer King: “I want to try Europe if I have the chance. The problem is we need time to prepare for any change. If I succeed, it proves the potential of Thai players to play in Europe. That also leads to the opportunity for young players to try more ".
Chanathip is the most successful player when abroad in ASEAN. It took only a difficult first season, with his mischievous and technical play, he soon became the leader and heart of the Japanese team in the following season.
Chanathip was so impressed that the 2018 J.League organizer listed him in the Best XI of the Year. Currently, Chanathip is also the most expensive player in Consadole Sapporo when Transfermarkt valued him at 2.4 million euros.
