The training process to prepare Martin Lo's new season with Hai Phong FC will be interrupted for 2 weeks due to inevitable reasons.

Martin Lo will have to rest during the training process to prepare for V-League 2020 of Hai Phong FC as he suffers a groin injury during a recent training session. The recovery time is expected to take about 2 weeks.

This is bad news for Hai Phong fans. In the context of a series of pillars (both local and foreign players leaving the club), Martin Lo is expected to be the new Vietnamese star of Hai Phong FC. However, this injury has caused his shine process to be affected.

On January 30, Martin Lo unexpectedly signed a 2-year contract with Hai Phong FC. This comes from the desire to play in V-League, the highest playground of Vietnamese football.

His determination to show his ability can be seen on the training ground when he always practices with a professional attitude. He is highly appreciated for his individual technical ability, outstanding vision of passing. His worrying point only lies in his small body and lack of physical foundation.

Still, this did not detract Martin Lo. Sharing with the media, the 23-year-old said: ‘Hai Phong owns many players who have similar playing style to me. I believe I can integrate quickly. The football environment here is also great. I will try my best to play as much as possible.”

In the past, many overseas Vietnamese players also shone in Hai Phong FC like Dang Van Lam and Dang Van Robert. In addition to Martin Lo, the Northern team itself also owns many other overseas Vietnamese players like Adriano Schdmidt, Michal Nguyen or Andrey Nguyen.
