Vietnam national team value shoots up, still behind Chanathip’s price

'Thai Messi' Chanathip Songkrasin became the first Southeast Asian player to have the highest transfer value at a J.League club.
Transfermarkt has recently updated the value of the players playing at the Japan National Championship - J.League 1. In which, the value of the Consadole Sapporo Club has a lot of fluctuations.
According to Siam Sport, Chanathip Songkrasin was valued at €2,400,000 and is the most valuable player of Consadole Sapporo Club. Thai media said this was a historic step for Thai football.

For the first time in J.League history, a player from Thailand and Southeast Asia has the highest valuation at a Japanese club playing in the J.League 1.
Chanathip Songkrasin teammate at Thailand NT and Consadole Sapporo club Kawin Thammasajan were also valued at 500,000 euros by Transfermarkt. Kawin joined the Japanese team on a 2-year loan deal from OH Luverne (Belgium).
Statistics from Transfermarkt show that the value of Chanathip Songkrasin is nearly double that of Vietnam NT, when starring team of Park Hang-seo is only valued at 1.4 million euros. In particular, Cong Phuong, Van Lam and Xuan Truong are the three most valuable players with 200,000 euros, while Quang Hai is only valued at $ 150,000.
