Striker Son Heung-min donated more than $ 83,000 to Good Neighborhood International - a non-profit health organization in Korea.

"I hope this action contributes to prevent the spread of the virus, and especially to help people in vulnerable situations and need protection," Son shared yesterday.

Son Heung-min returned to Korea in late February to have a left arm surgery. After returning to England, the Tottenham striker had to quarantine himself in London for 14 days.

Son's senior, former player Park Ji Sung, also donated $ 83,380 to the Child Protection Fund in Korea. "Although I'm in the UK, I still want to help children who are struggling with the current epidemic in Korea," the former Manchester United midfielder said.

Covid-19 greatly influenced European football. In Italy, Serie A is delayed indefinitely. La Liga matches in Spain will take place without spectators for the next two weeks. The boss Evangelos Marinakis of Olympiakos and Nottingham Forest is even positive for nCoV. This has stalled a match between Man City and Arsenal in the Premier League, as Mr. Marinakis used to watch Olympiakos face Arsenal in the Europa League earlier this month.

Italy, with 12,462 cases of nCoV and 827 deaths, is the epicenter of Europe. AC Milan Club, March 11, donated US $ 281,000 for the prevention of epidemics in the boot-shaped country. The Milan players each also supported a payday for the local hospital, in the fight against Covid-19.
