Saigon Club is planning to spend 1.2 million USD to buy goalkeeper Van Lam's contract.

Last time Van Lam's future was questioned after he lost his position at the beginning of the season in Thai League. The future of Van Lam showed more signs when Muangthong sold 2 pillars, Sarach Yooyen and Adisorn Promrak.

According to VTC, the Saigon Club is trying to recruit Van Lam for 1.2 million USD (about 28 billion VND). This number is more than double the amount Muangthong spent to get Van Lam's signature. The Sai Gon team has contacted Van Lam through his representative Andrey Grushin.

Besides, Saigon also contacted Van Lam's relatives to make impact on this player. However, Van Lam did not seem to be very excited about Saigon's proposal. He is training in a good environment with ideal conditions.

Since moving to Thailand, Van Lam has improved a lot of technical weaknesses. And the Vietnamese-origin goalkeeper is still determined to regain his lost position. He did not want to leave like a fugitive because he failed.

The source also said that 1.2 million USD is for price. If they want to sign a contract with Van Lam, Saigon or any other team must contact Muangthong United directly.

Currently Van Lam is still practicing at home due to the social distancing order of the Thai Government. The 27-year-old goalkeeper still retains professionalism when completing the exercises.
