The leader of Hanoi Club said he had to spend his money to help Van Hau return to play in the last SEA Games 30.

The story between Heerenveen and Van Hau is not over yet although the Dutch league has ended. Van Hau has discussed with SC Heerenveen about the future and the results will be available in the near future.

On the opposite side, the Hanoi Club also creates conditions for Van Hau to continue to "study abroad" in the Netherlands. Speaking to Thanh Nien, Mr. Vo Le Trung, General Director of T&T Sports Joint Stock Company, said:

"The absence of Van Hau greatly affects the expertise and achievements of the Hanoi club but we are willing to sacrifice with the expectation that Van Hau will continue to stay in the Netherlands. However, Van Hau alone cannot decide for himself so I hope Heerenveen will respond soon."

Mr. Le Trung believes that Van Hau is also treated equally like other cases, including Halilovic, the former young talent of La Masia in Barcelona. In addition, Mr. Le Trung also revealed a remarkable information when Hanoi had to pay fee to get Van Hau’s service in U22 Vietnam at SEA Games 30.

"From the beginning, the Hanoi club determined to create conditions for Hau to be experienced  the top football environment like Europe, not for economic purposes because the club had to spend money to bring Van Hau back to SEA Games.”

Specifically, Hanoi lost 1 billion as Heerenveen rather pay 2 months to Van Hau to serve the team at the SEA Games.

Van Hau’s salary after tax at Heerenveen is about 18500 Euro, equivalent to 470 million VND (5.6 billion a year). His salary is only lower than defender Van Rhijn, who is leading the club with 7 billion dong a year.
