Ho Chi Minh offers $650,000 to negotiate a buyout on Cong Phuong’s contract with HAGL
Ho Chi Minh City FC is planning to buy Cong Phuong from HAGL in the near future.
Ho Chi Minh has decided to buy 6-month contract of Cong Phuong from Sint-Truidense in order to boost their attack and conquer higher goals in 2020, which lasts until this June.
The V-League runner-up’s plan, however, is changed due to V-League postponement after the Covid 19 outbreak. Thereby, they are preparing to negotiate with HAGL about Cong Phuong’s future. HAGL president Doan Nguyen Duc affirmed that he will find a reasonable solution.
Ho Chi Minh city itself is planning to buy Cong Phuong and ready to spend arround $650,000. This is not a small money as the clubs in Vietnam faces financial problems.
Looking at the bright side, buying Cong Phuong means Ho Chi Minh City is building a long-term plan since Cong Phuong is blendling well and receive much support from fans. If the deal is successful, Ho Chi Minh will be the first team to recruit a star from HAGL JMG.
