Park Hang-seo is having too little strikers in the Vietnam NT squad. He always tests this position with many different names. That is why Park wants Vietnamese clubs use local strikers more in the near future.This thought has been expressed in the meeting with sport officials and VFF on May 22. Besides, park also asked powerful voices to direct clubs.
However, Park’s opinion was opposed by Le Huynh Duc. Speaking after the Vietnam Golden Ball 2019 Award, SHB Da Nang coach shared: “the pressure of the clubs forces coaches to have achievement and win more matches.”
“So, most of coaches used foreign striker. If Park leads a club and is under pressured, he will have to use foreign strikers like we do. There’s no other way. We need goals so we must use foreigners with strength and higher scoring performance.”
Le Huynh Duc’s speech made many people think of the conflict between two coaches since they didn’t greet each other at the guest seats.
