Thai fan: ‘Thailand encounters Vietnam to decide the ASEAN King’
Thai fans cannot hide their eagerness ahead of the 2019 King’s Cup kick-off match between Vietnam and Thailand.
On May 8 afternoon, the 2019 King’s Cup Draw took place in Bangkok capital (Thailand) where the four squads namely the host Thailand, Vietnam, India, and a CONCACAF area team – Curacao will be present very soon to contend for this annual tournament.
Different from the origin information, the classification was no longer based on squads’ spot on FIFA standings, it depends on draw results carried on by the organizers.
The official results came out as expected that means Vietnam and Thailand both head into the joint opening match of 2019 King’s Cup. The other clash belongs to the two participants the War Elephants and Curacao.
Through the excitement of Thai fans, it can be showed that they even hungry for this facing much more than Vietnamese fans do.
A fan named Songrit Thepphantha showed his feeling via Thai NT fanpage:
"The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) has to set up to sale tickets for this match right away. I am waiting to see this match for day by day."
The other account named Nawapon Khodthong commented:
“This exactly is a facing of the two giants. Although it is just a friendly game, we shouldn’t under-estimate Vietnam. I don’t know how I would be feeling if Thailand let them beat again.”

Over the last year, it seemed to be the forgettable period of Thai football by taking a series of failure in a big tournament and losing their position as the greatest team of Asian which was dropped into the Vietnam hands.
As a result, Thai people are looking for an official match against Vietnam NT to gain back their name.
However, Coach Park’s side is not afraid of Thailand. Regarding the forces, we totally can eliminate Thailand out of the game right in their den. The latest victory was typical when Coach Park side knocked out U23 Thailand 4 – 0 in AFC U23 Championship Qualifiers.
