‘I am craving for wearing Vietnam shirt again’, states Selangor player
Center back Michal Nguyen, a Vietnamese expatriate player shows his desire to be once again caped to Vietnam NT to contend for 2019 King’s Cup.
Knowing VFF is on the way seeking to overseas players who wish for dedicating to the national team, center back Michal Nguyen has confidence in his ability to have a slot in the national line-up, he spoke to Sao Star:

"I made my appearance for all of Selangor FA matches which are 10 in national league matches and 2 in FA Cup. I am helping the team to rank third in the Premier League Malaysia table.
I am very confident in my ability, everything is going well. I believe my experience will help Vietnam NT, I am very hungry to do so.
I have played for 3 years for Binh Duong FC, 1 year in Thai League and now is playing in Malaysia. More than ever, I am craving for wearing Vietnam NT outfit again.
I want to ask Coach Park Hang-seo for giving me a chance. I will prove that my experience will be useful for the national team.”
However, it comes as no surprise if his desire cannot be demanded as the outstanding youngsters such as Dinh Trong, Duy Manh, Bui Tien Dung, Que Ngoc Hai, Tan Sinh, and the expected center-back Adriano Schmidt, who Coach Park is owning, are so in excellent form.

2022 World Cup Qualifiers and SEA Games 2019 are the biggest targets of Vietnamese football.
Coach Park and his partners will cooperate to lead the National team for King’s Cup 2019 basis on June in Thailand. On the other hand, U23 Vietnam coached by assistant Kim Han-yoon will gear up for the friendly game against U23 Myanmar on June 7.
