HOT: 5 world football legends to hit street football match in Vietnam
Rio Ferdinand, Park Ji Sung, Roberto Carlos, Didier Drogba and Luis Figo are supposed to be in Vietnam this weekend to join a street football event with the desire to awaken the street football talent.
On the evening of June 23, five world football legends namely Rio Ferdinand, Park Ji Sung, Roberto Carlos, Didier Drogba and Luis Figo will have a share-and-talk event with Vietnamese football fans in Ho Chi Minh City. After that, the five will join goalkeeper Dang Van Lam as team-mates to encounter against the best local street team of the Tiger Street Football 2019.
Man United's legendary center-back Rio Ferdinand is set to be in the capital of Vietnam on June 22 Saturday afternoon to interact with the capital fans. On Saturday night, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, he will join Tiger Street Football Northern side’s night final.
Then Rio will be taken to Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday morning where he and his MU fans will have time together, before joining the evening street match.
Regarding Roberto Carlos, the former Brazilian player, will represent at HCMC from Sunday noon to give a talk with Real Madrid and Brazil fans in Vietnam at Crescent Residence in the afternoon.
The Portugal football legend Luis Figo will be in Vietnam from June 21 to visit some locations then have a conversation with football fans on June 23 Sunday afternoon.
For Chelsea fans, they will have an opportunity to meet and share with the legendary Didier Drogba from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on June 23.
At the same day, Man United fans will meet Park Ji Sung, a former famous Korean soccer star. Park Ji Sung will be on-board with other legends in the street football match at the evening of June 23.
The only representative of Vietnam NT in the line-up is the goalkeeper Dang Van Lam. This is the first time, Lam "foreigner" has the chance to be a teammate of the world's top football superstars.
