Vietnam’s Cong Phuong’s contract terms with Belgium’s Sint-Traudense disclosed
After many rumors on Cong Phuong relating to French second-tier club Clermont Foot 63 and Paris FC, Vietnam forward Cong Phuong is likely to head to Belgium’s top club.
The Vietnam forward was rumored to join Belgium Pro League side Sint-Trudense who came 7th last season and seek to get into the play-offs in the next season.
His parents also stated that the contract is going to complete and there are some details unveiled.
Sharing with Tien Phong newspaper (July 1), HAGL’s director Nguyen Tan Anh said: "Cong Phuong will play for Sint-Truidense under a 1-year contract, starting from the new season. Currently, we are promoting to complete procedures for Phuong to go to Belgium, and Sint-Truidense VV has also made a video introducing Cong Phuong's debut".
Thereby, Cong Phuong will sign a one-year contract with the Belgium side instead of having a 1-month trial in Fance.
“He was a target of many teams who had noticed him. After considering all the proposals, HAGL decided to choose Sint-Truidense as the new destination for Cong Phuong,” said Tan Anh.
The contract will be sign in Ho Chi Minh City on July 5.
