Midfielder Tran Dinh Trong says Vietnam clash against Thailand or any team in King’s Cup is not as important as Vietnamese players’ confidence.
Thai federation has held King’s Cup 2019 draw and identified match rivals. Vietnam encounters Thailand while Curacao faces India.
Many Vietnamese footballers worries of Thailand ‘intentionally’ arranges to thrash ‘Golden Dragon’. However, Vietnam NT midfielder stated “Now, we dont care which team we face, yet the most important thing is we have learnt many things. Confidence is necessary whatever team it is. I only concern whether or not we can perform well."

Tran Dinh Trong, missed Asian Cup for injury treatment, came back in V-League 2019 and AFC U23 Championships 2020 Qualifiers. The 1997-born player will definitely get a place in the list since he is unreplaceable link in the attack of coach Park's plan.
