Dang Van Lam is the no. 1 name for this position and he is the first goalmouths to play oversea. However, the 26 year old’s position is not stable since goalie Nguyen Tuan Manh’s proving himself with ‘unbelievable’ save. Without Tuan Manh, Sanna Khanh Hoa might go to the bottom of the rankings.
In all U23 matches, coach Park always trusts Bui Tien Dung, however, his form recently and his injury might not secure the official position.
In V-League, Van Toan is one of the most excellent goalkeepers, he had saved 2 penalty goals from the beginning of the season, witnessing he plays, no one thought he is only 20.
Van Bieu, less outstanding than Van Toan, also playing quite stable in V-League this season. The first time playing for U22 Vietnam in AFF U22 2019, Van Bieu delivered impressive performance. The excellency of these 3 goalkeepers creates a tough competition yet interesting for earning the U23 position.
Whatever the choice is, coach Park is having the best goalies and fans are having high hopes on them.
