Filip Nguyen has been chosen to the typical lineup in round 29 Czech Super Cup due to his super performance.
Vietnamese football, at present, appears a new generation of Vietnamese oversea players who offer to be play for the national team. One of the names is Filip Nguyen, a famous Czech-Vietnamese goalkeeper, currently playing for Slovan Liberec FC.
Filip, being the first choice for goalie position, remains outstanding and stable form which brings his club 6th position in the rankings. Noticeably, this team just concedes 26 goals in 29 matches, only trailing behind Slavia Prague.
Despite Slovan Liberec’s dramatic 3-2 win over Slovacko, Filip Nguyen is still highly appreciated by experts since he secured the net well.
Vietnamese fans have high hope on Filip Nguyen’s return to Vietnam NT. He shared that he is trying for applying for Vietnamese nationality and planning to come back to Vietnam in the next 6 month after Czech supercup ends.
He possesses outstanding fitness compared to other goalies in ASEAN zone and Asia with 1.91 meters height and 85 kilograms weight. Moreover, he was trained in ABC Branik Prague football academy, joined the first team Sparta Prague, played for others teams before Slovan Liberec.
If Vietnam is able to take advantages of these, Vietnam NT will become stronger. Park Hang-seo and his assistants are likely to visit Europe to watch and consider about this recruitment.
