VPF announced the 2020 National Cup will return in mid-September, the tournament will end within 10 days.
Quarterfinals of the National Cup 2020 with the participation of 8 teams including Ba Ria Vung Tau, Than Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Viettel, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Hong Linh Ha Tinh and Binh Duong .
Based on the disease control situation of localities, VPF has set the schedule for the Bamboo Airways National Cup 2020. Accordingly, the quarter-finals are scheduled to take place on September 11 and September 12. Two semi-finals will be held on September 16, the final will be on September 20.
The most balanced match will be a duel between Viettel and Becamex Binh Duong. Before the football was delayed due to the impact of the epidemic, both teams were in very good shape. Especially Viettel with 19 points won and is ranked 2nd in the V-League 2020, while Becamex Binh Duong is at 7th place.
Besides, the match of Hong Linh Ha Tinh and Than Quang Ninh is also very unpredictable. The rookie of the V-League does not own many stars in the squad, but plays with determination and discipline, coach Pham Minh Duc. Although they were rated higher, Than Quang Ninh suddenly loaned the three most important players of the team, Nghiem Xuan Tu, Mac Hong Quan and Diego Fagan, making their strength significantly decreased.
