Striker Tran Thanh has not received his insurance money despite undergoing surgery more than a year ago.

In July 2017, Tran Thanh went to Viet Duc for surgery. He had to spend his own money while waiting for the club to send his application to PTI insurance company, which sponsors insurance for professional football tournaments. The amount is 60 million Dong.
Since then, Tran Thanh has not yet received his insurance payment. The reason is that the Hue Club has delayed procedures. In November 2019, the Hue Football Club just sent a dossier to VPF.
“Until then I was notified of the missing file, VPF asked the club to do it again. However, recently I learned that my application has not been resolved because it is too time consuming ”, said Tran Thanh.
VPF Chairman Tran Anh Tu has requested to report the case. Accordingly, in addition to delaying the application, the lack of a red invoice makes the procedure difficult.
"I have directed the department in charge of finding support measures for Tran Thanh. However, clubs also need to pay attention and process early dossiers for players when injured to ensure their interests", Mr. Tu shared.
Remember Tran Thanh is the decisive goal scorer to help U19 Vietnam win tickets to the U20 World Cup final. This is also the first World Cup that a national team of Vietnamese football attended. Tran Thanh was called up by Park to attend the AFC U23 championship 2020 qualifying round, but was injured so he could not summon.
