UAE worried before the important match with Vietnam
Only 4 months before the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Asia will return, but the UAE has yet to find a new captain for the upcoming period.
In March 2020, the UAE Football Federation suddenly terminated the contract with coach Ivan Jovanovic, although the Serbian strategist has not led this team in any official match. However, they cannot foresee that finding a new head coach for the national team is so difficult.
After parting with coach Ivan Jovanovic, the UAE Football Federation has contacted a series of famous strategists in the world such as Felipe Scolari, Paulo Sousa, Zlatko Dalic ... but all were rejected.
Recently, they have continued to invite the Romanian strategist - Mr. Cosmin Olaroiu to lead the UAE in the near future. Even the western Asian team is ready to pay coach Cosmin Olaroiu a very generous salary up to 12 million USD / year. However, their offer was refused by the Romanian strategist.
Sharing with the media, coach Cosmin Olaroiu said: “It is an honor to be eyed by the UAE team. I really want to lead a national team like the UAE. However, at this time, I still have a contract with Jiangsu Suning. I will not leave at this time. "
With coach Cosmin Olaroiu continuing to reject the UAE Football Federation, the West Asia team is facing numerous difficulties in preparation for the 2022 World Cup qualifying round in Asia, when there are only 4 months left before this tournament comes back.
Currently, the UAE is ranked 4th in Group G of the 2022 World Cup qualifying round in Asia with 6 points. They are 6 points behind the Vietnamese team but playing less than 1 match. If they dont find a coach soon, it will be difficult for the UAE to overthrow Vietnam in this group.
