The impressive career of the new Vietnamese football captain

VFF is negotiating the last terms to finalize the contract with the new technical director, Japanese expert Yusuke Adachi.

Adachi is a familiar names for many coaches in Vietnam . In 2017, Mr. Adachi came to Vietnam as an AFC lecturer for the AFC Pro certification training course.

Many coaches and experts in Vietnam have learned from Adachi such as Nguyen Huu Thang, Nguyen Minh Phuong, Nguyen Van Sy, Lu Dinh Tuan, Hoang Van Phuc, Le Huynh Duc, ...

Mr. Adachi, 59, born in Kanagawa, did not have a famous player career in the youth team Yomiuri (1977-1979), then he was promoted to the first team and played for 5 years from 1980-1984 and then retired. Leaving football early made Adachi to have many opportunities to contact coaching career early.

In 1988, at the age of 27, he took part in coaching the Fujita Industries youth team and the youth team of Cerezo Osaka until 2001. In 2005, he made great strides in his career when he took over Yokohama FC.

In 2016, he became the Technical Director of the Hong Kong Football Federation, and currently he is also a senior lecturer of AFC.

With more than 30 years of training experience, Mr. Yusuke Adachi has a lot of experience in teaching, guiding young players and planning a long way for a football.

He meets the criteria that VFF wants in the new Technical Director. VFF is expected to sign a long-term contract with Mr. Adachi with the preferential salary of 20 thousand USD / month.
