Costa Rica player: 'I am very impressed with Cong Phuong's talent'

Ariel Rodriguez had more than 2 weeks of training with his new club in Ho Chi Minh City. He is one of two Costa Rican players to join the Sai Thanh team, so he receives great attention.

"I do not have all the names of my teammates here. I really like the play of the player with the number 21 shirt (Cong Phuong), I forgot his name, he is an excellent player".

Ariel said his most memorable memory with Costa Rica NT was the match against Honduras in the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers. It was a home match for Costa Rica and Ariel was only on the bench. Ariel said he loves the Vietnamese pho and the coffee here is also very palatable.

Ariel Rodriguez is 30 years old, has had many years of playing football in Thailand, so the climate and culture are a bit similar.
