The unstable of performance of Van Lam and Tuan Manh made Park Hang-seo 'wait' for overseas Vietnamese goalkeeper Filip Nguyen.

It is not clear whether Van Lam will take back his place, but Muangthong United can completely make it difficult for Vietnam by not release its goalie for the AFF Cup 2020 (not in FIFA Days).
Earlier, VFF Secretary General Le Hoai Anh confirmed that Vietnam head coach was waiting for the citizenship of the Czech overseas Vietnamese goalkeeper.
Filip Nguyen affirmed that wearing the Vietnam national team is something he never refused. With the talent performed in the Czech league, the 28-year-old will be a suitable piece in Park Hang Seo's squad.
"Wearing the Vietnam national team is what I have always wanted. Hopefully that miracle will come in the near future so that I can play for Vietnam somedays. I really want to play with Vietnam in the World Cup. Hope all Vietnamese fans wait for me "- Filip shared.
Czech overseas Vietnamese goalkeeper is also in stable form in Slovan Liberec. In the recent friendly match against Patrik Le Giang's Bohemians Praha 1905, Filip Nguyen played brilliantly and kept a clean sheet on the pitch.
Hopefully the authorities will soon solve the citizenship process for Filip Nguyen, so that he will have the opportunity to contribute to the Vietnam NT at the 2022 World Cup and AFF Cup 2020.
