Goalkeeper Filip Nguyen is excited that the Czech League will start again this month.
The Covid-19 pandemic was so widespread that most football tournaments in the world were halted. "Craving" for playing football is the common feeling of king sport lovers.
Recently goalkeeper Filip Nguyen was overjoyed to announce the good news about the return of the Czech league on May 23.
"THE LEAGUE IS BACK!
The first match after a forced break due to Covid-19 awaits us next week! Today it was voted at the league gremium that the league will be extended at least until July 15. The matches will be without fans. We will start with postponed game in Teplice."
It is known that the encounter between Teplice and Slovan Liberec is the first match for the return of the Czech league. On the Czech table, Teplice and Slovan Liberec are playing less than other teams 1 match. All teams will have to complete the remaining 6 rounds of the qualifying phase. Slavia Praha is currently leading with 58 points, Viktoria Plzen is ranked behind with 8 points less.
In the second phase, the first 6 teams will play a round-robin to find the champion, the last 6 teams will play to find the 2 weakest teams to be relegated. 4 teams in the middle of the table will compete for a place in the Europa League qualifier next season.
Filip Nguyen's Slovan Liberec is currently in seventh place, but is full of opportunities to qualify for the second stage of the championship.
Thus, the Czech league will be the second largest tournament in Europe after the Bundesliga (Germany) announced its return this May.
