Xuan Truong’s injury recovered faster than expected, he will soon re-appear in HAGL and Vietnam NT.
During the call-up of Vietnam NT to prepare for the matches in the 2022 World Cup qualifier, midfielder Luong Xuan Truong suffered a serious injury when he broke his front ligament and had to go to Korea for surgery and treatment.
After 5 months of active treatment in South Korea, he was allowed to return to Vietnam. Xuan Truong will continue to rehabilitate according to the lesson plan.
Luong Xuan Truong has been present in his hometown of Tuyen Quang to rest with his family. The midfielder will then treat the injury at the Ham Rong Training Center of HAGL Club.
The fact that Xuan Truong was able to return home two months earlier than expected was very good news for HAGL club as well as Vietnam team, because the talent of Luong Xuan Truong is indisputable.
In particular, Xuan Truong's role at Pho Nui football team now lies not only in professional aspect, he also plays a role as a spiritual leader.
South Korean experts said Xuan Truong needs another 2-3 months of rehab, before returning to the pitch. Accordingly, Hoang Anh Gia Lai has decided to register additional Luong Xuan Truong for the 2020 National Cup.
It is expected that Luong Xuan Truong may return to the 9th round of the 2020 V.League when HAGL travels to B. Binh Duong. If quickly regaining his form, the midfielder has the opportunity to join Vietnam in two matches against Indonesia and the UAE in the 2022 World Cup Qualifier.
