Coach Park: 'HAGL president needs me to be present but I am not in favor of HAGL'

July 1 is the first day that U22 Vietnam focuses on the short-term plan of Park Hang-seo. However, the Korean strategist was not in Hanoi, but in Ho Chi Minh City.

Explaining this, Park Hang-seo explained he joined the opening ceremony of a coffee shop of HAGL president. The Korean leader also denied information about favoring HAGL players in the list of U22 Vietnam summons.

Park Hang-seo shared: "I just attended the matches in Quang Nam and Ha Tinh and should have returned to Hanoi to join forces with the players. But, I received an invitation from Mr. Duc, My big friend, so I should be here, as you all know, without him, I wouldn't have been in Vietnam so when he needs me, I will be there, except when I am busy with the players.”

I don't favor any team. I am a professional coach, so be fair to every player. In fact, the HAGL players don't even want me to see them play. They told me that if I come, they will receive a loss or a draw, such an unluck. Even Nguyen Van Toan "banned" me from Gia Lai"- according to VnExpress.

In the list of 28 U22 players, HAGL contributes the most with 5 names including: Nguyen Canh Anh, Au Duong Quan, Tran Bao Toan, Dung Quang Nho (3rd course) and Vu Minh Hieu ( 4th course).

The rally of U22 Vietnam takes place only in 3 days from July 1-3, to serve the  test and building forces towards the key goals in 2021.
