Coach Lee Tae Hoon: 'HAGL has many better players than Cong Phuong'

After 2 unbeaten matches with 1 win and 1 draw, HAGL was thrashed on the pitch of SHB Da Nang with the score 1-3.

Although they soon took the lead thanks to Van Toan's goal, the weakness in the defense made HAGL pay with 3 conceding goals. This failure caused HAGL to drop to the 8th position in the 2020 V-League rankings.

In this match, besides the goal of Van Toan, HAGL's attack played very faint and deadlock. This makes many fans of the mountain town team feel regret when witnessing Cong Phuong shining in the colors of Ho Chi Minh City. However, coach Lee Tae Hoon does not think so:

"I think  it is not pity, because Cong Phuong has a contract with Ho Chi Minh City Club. We also have other better players. Therefore, we don’t feel bad because Cong Phuong is playing good in another team".

Assessing the performance of the players, coach Lee Tae Hoon said: "Tuan Anh is a player with good technique and plays football at a high level. Our other players have good ability. I can’t give specific assessment for the opponent's midfield, but the Danang club also has players of similar level.

Xuan Truong has recovered from his injuries and can play, but for him to play the whole match, it still takes a lot of time. I will adjust for Xuan Truong to quickly regain the feeling of the ball and the inherent form ".
