BREAKING: Malaysia vs Vietnam in World Cup qualifying 2022 delayed

The Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) has received a letter from AFC announcing the postponement of World Cup qualifiers in March and June.

PSSI has received a letter from the Asian Football Federation (AFC) announcing that the match between Indonesia and hosts Thailand, scheduled for March 26, has been postponed until October 8. Similarly, Indonesia's home match with the United Arab Emirates on March 31, was changed to October 13, 2020. The match with Vietnam is scheduled to take place on June 4 moves to November 12.

This means that the match of Vietnam and Malaysia team is also delayed. Currently, Vietnam Football Federation has not made an official announcement about the specific schedule of the team in the near future.

PSSI President Mochamad Iriawan said: "Our national team was prepared last month. The plan is for mid March to gather.
