The Asia Football Federation has decided to delay all matches of Ho Chi Minh City and Than Quang Ninh at the AFC Cup 2020.
The Asia Football Federation (AFC) has officially sent a notice to the member federation about the decision to postpone all AFC Cup 2020 matches, scheduled to take place in March and April 2020.
With the view to safeguarding the health of all members of Asian football and the world, AFC will continue to evaluate and monitor following the developments of the Covid-19 epidemic before releasing information.
To90hus, with this announcement of the Asian Football Federation, all matches in April of the two clubs of Ho Chi Minh City and Than Quang Ninh in the AFC Cup 2020 will not take place as scheduled.
Specifically, the matches of Ho Chi Minh City Club against Lao Toyota FC (April 15), Yangon United FC (April 29); Quang Ninh Coal Club against Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC (April 14) and Bali United FC will be postponed until further notice.
Earlier, due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic and the travel restrictions of many countries across Asia, AFC discussed with FIFA and made a decision to postpone matches in March and June 2020 at the 2022 World Cup Asian Qualifiers, as well as the AFC Champions League matches and the AFC Cup 2020 West Asia region.
