U23 Thailand centerback: Iraq should wary to face us

Center back Shinnaphat Peeaoh is confident that U23 Iraq should be the one to wary before the match in AFC U23 Championship 2020 finals.

After the glorious 5-0 win over U23 bahrain, U23 Thailand was thrashed 1-2 by Australia. This defeat could make them disqualified after the group stage if they get another loss to Iraq in the final match. This will not be easy for Nishino side as Iraq is also craving for points following their two straight draws.

However, Thai centerback is still confident to challenge thr Iraq team.

“We still have one more match ahead, if Thailand wins, we will be qualified for the next match. We have no reason to be worried. I think the team should be worried is Iraw because Thailand has home advantage with fans’ support,” Shinnaphat Leeoah shares.

Shinnaphat Leeoah and his teammates in the 1-2 loss to Australia. Chiang Rai United player reaffirmed his goal in the upcoming match.

“We must try our best to do our task. Thailand wants to win. We must analyze thoroughly Iraq and focus on their weaknesses,” U23 captain added.

In the match with U23 Australia, Shinnaphat made mistake in the opponent’s equalizer as he was unable to neutralize Agostino who found the net and brought a goal for Australia.

U23 Thailand will face U23 Iraq on Jan 14 at 8:15PM.
