Jordan coach Ahmed Abu Ismail shares in the post-match press interaction on the regrettable draw to Vietnam.

U23 Vietnam continues to draw in the second match at AFC U23 Championship 2020 finals. It was not until Park fielded Dinh Trong that Vietnam played better and more stable.

In this match,U23 Jordan could not convert their chances to goals. Its coach expressed his regrete:

“This result is not what I want. We created 5 chances but was unable to take advantages of that. We will stay focused in the upcoming match,” Jordan coach told reporter.

“A 1-1 draw to UAE is enough to move on but we want to win in the next match. Actually we changed only 1 player because the others performed really well on the pitch.

My forwards should improve their finishing skills. The difference between Vietnam and North Korea is that Vietnamese has speed and North Korea is physically strong,” added Jordan coach.

U23 Vietnam must win U23 North Korea to win a place in the quarter finals. If either UAE and Jordan wins or loses, Vietnam just needs a win to move one.

If UAE and Jordan draw with goals, Vietnam will surely be disqualified no matter what the outcome with North Korea is.
