Speaking recently, Vietnam defender Doan Van Hau wants to have Heerenveen extend his contract.
Recently, representatives of the Hanoi Club spoke out about the future of the player Doan Van Hau. In case Heerenveen does not continue to extend, the Capital team will welcome Thai Binh-born player to play in the V.League 2020.
However, according to some sources, Heerenveen appreciates Van Hau's talent and intends to keep him. The number 1 leftback in Vietnam also aspires to continue playing football in Europe.
Van Hau wants to stay in Heerenveen.
"I want to continue to stay in Heerenveen to develop myself, because a Vietnamese player can play football in Europe is not easy. Of course, everything is decided by Hanoi and Heerenveen,” Van Hau shared.
Doan Van Hau's loan contract will expire in June 2020. SC Heerenveen will have to contact Hanoi FC at the end of May to decide whether to extend the contract or returning Van Hau to Vietnam.
After more than 7 months of moving to the Netherlands, Doan Van Hau is unable to compete in Heerenveen’s first squad. He was played 4 minutes in the National Cup.
