Currently, Le Tan Tai is the captain as well as the spiritual leader of the young players Hong Linh Ha Tinh in the V-League 2020.

However, since the V-League 2020 returned, fans have rarely seen Tan Tai used by coach Pham Minh Duc. This made him unhappy and expressed his desire to leave: “My age is not young, so I want to play more in the last year of the player's career, so I choose the team that gives me that opportunity.”
It is known that Le Tan Tai's wishes were accepted by the management of Hong Linh Ha Tinh. Last time, at least 2 clubs wanted Tan Tai to play in phase 2, but he chose Hanoi club.
This is quite a surprise when the Hanoi FC midfield is having very good names like Hung Dung, Duc Huy or Moses. The fact that they bring back a veteran like Tan Tai is probably a temporary solution when the force of the defending champion V-League is in short more than ever.
It is expected that Le Tan Tai will play for Hanoi FC in phase 2 of V-League 2020. Here, he will meet his former teammate at Becamex Binh Duong, goalkeeper Tan Truong.
