A V. League match in central Vietnam was disrupted Friday after fans spilled over a full stadium supposed to be half full.
Coach Troussier summoned '30 special players' for U19 Vietnam

In the list of 30 players convened for the first round of June 1, Coach Troussier did not call any players who qualify for the National U19 Championship finals with the governing team.
To prepare for the AFC U19 Championship, coach Philippe Troussier has listed 30 players for the first round of June summon.
Notably, the French coach did not call any players from the clubs reaching the National U19 Championship Final. Most of the players on this list come from Hanoi FC, Viettel, Thanh Hoa and SHB Da Nang. Viettel even won 22 points in the qualifying round but still failed to advance because it was in the table of 6 teams, so the results with the last 2 teams were not recognized.
Specifically, Hanoi FC’s Van Tung is considered high performance but has not been played in the first team in V-League.
From now until the AFC U19 Championship finals, Mr. Troussier will divide into short sessions to call up new faces and then sellect gradually. This is a necessary step because he said that in order to prepare for the future towards the World Cup, Vietnam needs 100 talented young players.
Recently, Coach Troussier stopped working as Technical Director at PVF to switch to an advisory role, leaving the position to a Belgian expert. This partly helped him to focus more on the work of the U19 Vietnam team, which he devoted a lot to the future.
