BREAKING: Doan Van Hau has no chance to play for Heerenveen in the 2019/2020 season
The new decision of the Dutch Football Federation officially made Doan Van Hau hopeless to play for the first team Heerenveen for the rest of the season.
Eredivisie season 2019-2020 will be officially canceled for the results of the Covid-19 epidemic. This tournament, together with the second division, will end without the team winning the overall championship.
Relegations will also be omitted. The clubs will keep the same position as the 2019/2020 season ends for the next season.
The participation in the continental arena (Champions League, Europa League) of the Netherlands will be based on "statistics of the performances of the clubs in the season 2019/2020" announced by UEFA in the near future.
As such, this decision officially ended Doan Van Hau's chances for Heerenveen in the 2019/2020 season. The term of the contract between him and the Dutch team will also come to an end when the season ends.
It is unclear whether the two sides will continue to extend or terminate the contract. The Thai Binh defender himself has always expressed his determination in the Netherlands to prove his ability. Leaders of Hanoi FC also affirmed to create the most favorable conditions for him to develop.
However, in the opposite direction, a lot of conflicting rumors are still frequently given at Heerenveen. Most believe that Vietnamese players will have to return home after nearly 1 year.
After 25 rounds played in the 2019/2020 season, Ajax and AZ Alkmaar are standing in the top two positions with the same 56 points, followed by Feyenoord, PSV, Willem II, Utrecht and Vitesse respectively. Heerenveen is ranked 10th on the table.
