After months of rehabilitating at the PVF youth training center, midfielder Luong Xuan Truong will return to HAGL and finish his treatment process.
Luong Xuan Truong suffered a serious injury during a pre-match training between Vietnam and Malaysia in October last year. Since then, the Tuyen Quang-born midfielder has had to spend nearly 1 year on ligament surgery and trauma treatment.
Recently, he ended the period of treatment and rehabilitation at the PVF youth football training center, the 25-year-old midfielder returned to HAGL. He will practice with his teammates in the near future. If nothing happens, Xuan Truong could return to play in June.
This is great news for the fans of HAGL Club. During the past time, HAGL has not performed well, typically the weak 0-3 thrashing on Hanoi home soil on 6/6. Lacking Xuan Truong, his partner Tuan Anh, faced many difficulties in the midfield, when Trieu Viet Hung, Chau Ngoc Quang or Minh Vuong did not show much.
The return of Xuan Truong can help HAGL's midfield stronger, this is what Lee Tae Hoon has been looking forward to during the past time. On the V-League rankings in 2020, HAGL has temporarily dropped to 9th place.
