Thai newspaper comments 'sarcastically' on Park Hang-seo’s punishment

Recently, VFF has confirmed that the punishment of Park Hang-seo will not apply in the AFF Cup 2020. This is really good news for Vietnamese football because the Federation and the team also do not have to worry about arranging enough friendly matches before the AFF Cup for Park to practice the penalty.

Immediately after receiving an answer from AFC, the Siamsport newspaper expressed a confusing attitude with the penalty imposed. They snatched headlines: " Would you laugh or cry with the penalty of Park Hang-seo”

In the article, the author stated: " Reported that although this program is not in the competitive system of FIFA and AFC, the AFF Suzuki Cup is still an official tournament. Therefore, this punishment cannot be counted as Park Hang-seo's punishment match."

It's easy to understand because the matches at the AFF Cup still count on FIFA rankings. Not long ago, the newspaper was very happy to hear that Mr. Park would lose some matches at the AFF Cup. Without Park, Vietnam Tel will lose its dangers.

Remember, in the confrontation with Thailand at the 2019 King's Cup, it was Park playing Luong Xuan Truong in the last minutes that brought the victory. The Tuyen Quang player made an uncomfortable corner kick which made the goalkeeper Kawin make a mistake and Anh Duc took advantage of the opportunity.
